While touring Donoue General Hospital, Kosuke Sagara observes surgeon Kazue Minagawa (

Masanobu Takashima) taking part in operation involving a patient with pancreatic cancer. During the procedure, the patient's health deteriorates. Dr. Minagawa and Moriyama are shaken by the change. Kosuke Sagara enters the operation room.
